The Bears Barn Holiday Cottage, Hartington, Derbyshire.

The holiday cottage is part of a converted two storey barn in the beautiful village of Hartington, in the Derbyshire Peak District National park.

It has one bedroom with a four-poster double bed. Double glazed with heating via storage heaters on heatwise system plus a Stovax View 5 multi-fuel stove on Derbyshire gritstone hearth. Large kitchen with dining area.

There's an electric cooker and hob, a microwave, radio/CD player, TV with FreeSat, DVD with a selection of movies, and a washing machine. Exterior under-stairs cupboard for cycle storage. Electricity included. All bedding (duvets) and towels provided. Private off-road parking behind the barn for two cars.

Shops and pubs (The Charles Cotton and the Devonshire Arms) within one minute's walk. Good walks (Beresford and Wolfscote Dale) and cycling (Tissington, High Peak and Manifold cycle trails) from your door. The Hartington Hall Youth Hostel does wonderful cream teas.

The village of Hartington is very close to the Tissington Trail which crosses the Derbyshire Peak District on an old railway line.
