Devonshire Arms Hotel, Hartington in 1943

The postcard reads:

Dear Helena
Sorry I have not been able to write, but we have not had much time for anything. The window marked X is my room. It has been raining quite a lot up here but we don't mind much. I also found a lovely fossil this morning. Will try to write later. Love Moira.
