Manifold Tourist Information

Manifold track. A favourite for walkers and cyclists, follows the old route of the disused Leek and Manifold Light Railway through the Manifold and Hamps Valleys from Waterhouses to Hulme End.

Manifold Valley Visitor Centre. Hulme End. (Tel: 01298 84679). Based at the end of the Manifold Track in the former ticket office of the Leek and Manifold Light Railway, the centre provides direct access to the Manifold Track, an information service, a permanent exhibition on the history, landscape and archaeology of the valley, a car park and large picnic area and a scale model of the Leek and Manifold Valley Light Railway running from Hulme End to Swainsley Tunnel.
