Willow Cottage - for two adults, non-smokers only, sorry no children or pets.

We aren't really sure how old Willow Cottage is. We do know that it was originally a one-up one-down miners cottage and that the extension for the kitchen and bathroom was added about 50 years ago. Our best guess is 19th century, as to which end of the century, well... I guess we'll never know. We bought it in 1995 and were immediately smitten with the oak beams and white walls. We have kept the cottage as original as possible. The open fireplace is still there equiped with a multi-fuel stove. If you look to the left of the fire and up a bit, you can see a metal hook in the wall, which we can only assume was used for cooking at some point.

The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, microwave and fridge.

The lounge has a colour TV, video, DVD, and there is a small CD player if you want to bring your own music.

The stairs are quite steep leading to the bedroom. The en-suite bathroom has an electric shower over a shower tub.
